Lauren Gerken
Texas DD Council
Lauren Gerken has worked in disability policy for seven years through Easterseals, The Arc of Texas, and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. For the last three years, she has served as a Public Policy Analyst for the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities, working collaboratively on innovative approaches to improve the lives of people with disabilities. She is also a doctoral student in Texas State University’s Adult, Professional, and Community Education program where she focuses on increasing an understanding of disability in adult education and human resource development.
