About the Speaker
Scott Daigle
Texas DD Council
Scott Daigle has over 17 years’ experience as a policy professional. He currently serves as the Public Policy Director for the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities, where he works to inform lawmakers and agency officials on the potential impacts of proposed policies on people with disabilities. He also strives to educate the public on policy activities and empower them to advocate for themselves. Prior to joining TCDD, he served for 12 years in the office of Texas State Representative Donna Howard, first as her Director of Constituent Services and later as her Chief of Staff. Scott used to be a professional actor, and has performed in Alaska, Maine, and many places in between.
